16 Weeks

Well today we're 16 weeks and counting... In theory Baby L should weigh between 3-5 oz and should be 4-5 inches long from top of the head to bum (for some reason they don't count the legs in the height this early- maybe they're too stubby)?  3-5 oz clearly doesn't account for all my weight gain, but I'm saying the rest has for sure gone to my bust.  Whoohoo!  Additionally, the baby's eyes have moved from the side of the head to the front of the face... a good development we think.  

I'm offering a variety of photos today (all before I start eating since it then gets a little too dramatic for my ego...)

I tried to crop my rear out of the pics- as I think it's growing as fast as my belly- but Ben assures me this isn't the case.  Though I think it says in all the books that the husband is supposed to say this for fear of hormonal wrath.  

Later this week I should be able to update you with the gender of our little Peanut... assuming the little guy/girl isn't shy...
