Not a great picture I realize... but this is Ben, surrounded by 8 firemen at LAX as we are about to leave for Houston. He had gotten stung by something right before we left for the airport after surfing- his foot was swelling and he thought it prudent to have someone look at it before we boarded the plane. Help arrived- but the guys all scooted out of the picture before I could properly commemorate the moment. I came back from getting food to see Ben, with Lucy on his lap, surrounded by these guys.
Their advice was vinegar (I tell you it's the miracle cure)- for which Ben went on a mad hunt for in the food court- and ended up putting McDonald's salad dressing on his foot. Ben's foot has survived. Whether it was time or McD's salad dressing, we will never know.
