At the airport... again. At least I got to wear my pjs!
Daddy and I had a hard time with the jet lag. I convinced my parents I'd sleep more if they would let me sleep with them. We arranged it so I could sleep on half the bed, horizontal, while they could split the other half between the two of them. My stuffed animals got the crib.
I like pasta.
Daddy figured that since it was another country, he would deign to sport the Moby without risking too much personal embarrassment. They named a whole "coffee shop" after him.
We took a day trip to get some of the nearby flavor. It included a tour of a cheese factory. Our group moved on ahead from us while we were tasting cheeses. I believe the conversation went something like this:
Mommy: "Did our tour group leave?"
Daddy (eating all the free cheese samples): "Who cares? I'm SO happy!"
We had lunch at this restaurant- and in the back of the restaurant they have this full-on kids play area. It was genius.
Happy New Years!
This was at our hotel after the New Year had struck. We had been out with Grandma, Bearpa and Auntie Heidi when mom and dad decided they should get me home to bed before the firework madness commenced. We took a cab. It turned out to be a terrible idea- as the streets were MOBBED with people, we couldn't drive through - the car got surrounded- people were pounding on it and throwing fireworks at us. Dad was convinced we were going to be on a live-spot on CNN of a taxi getting tipped over in Amsterdam. We finally gave up and got out and caught the fireworks display. MAJOR scene! Then mom and dad decided to grab a drink at the hotel bar.
Vondelpark is like their Central Park. Daddy refers to it as "Fondle Me Park."
Yes... that is Daddy standing at an outdoor urinal. No. He wasn't really using it.
In addition to hugging- I've become a totally insane little master dancer. This video is super dark- but it's me breaking it down at a bar in Amsterdam. Yes... a bar in Amsterdam. Nice mom and dad.

Hey Amie! I love all your pics. Miss Lucy gets cuter by the second. She's got moves! Your latest posts fulfilled a much needed Lucy fix. So wish I could see you guys. We must coordinate seeing each other over the holidays in Baltimore, either Thanksgiving or Christmas, and I'm totally feeling a graduation present/trip to LA for Jimmy!
