Little Lucy turned one year and one quarter yesterday... where does the time go???? We went to the pediatrician this morning. Lucy is still holding steady at the 25th percentile in everything except overall perfectness - which she's in the 100th percentile. She's exactly 2 1/2 feet tall and weighs a whopping 20lbs and 15oz. The whole trip to the doctor was very traumatic for Lucy as it fell in the middle of her naptime, she got two shots, and the wretched nurse had the AUDACITY to both weigh and measure Lucy- which my little girl found VERY unacceptable. She was so upset from the whole event that she passed out the second we got in the car and is currently sleeping in her carseat up in her room. Poor thing.
She walks everywhere, she is very independent. She must feed herself, she must hold the dog leashes, she must "scoop the poop" (we don't really let her do this- she practices on rocks...). She lives off of fruit. She is obsessed with lotion, chapstick and jewelry. She loves to push her cart, her stroller, the shopping cart at the store, and anything else with wheels. She's obsessed with her doggies. She's moved from calling out "doggy" to every animal she sees and now goes "woof woof" when she sees or hears dogs. She knows how to open things, cabinets, zippers, caps, twist offs. Pretty much anything in her reach is hers to play with. She emptied out two boxes of cereal on the rug yesterday and mashed what Charlie didn't eat before I had a chance to stop her. She thought it was hilarious. It was. She's way too interested in Sesame Street and grunts every time she gets near the television. She adores being outside- so we spend a great deal of time playing in the front and back. She's very helpful with the gardening and goes looking for all the new seeds I've planted.
She's awesome- Lucy is just the BEST. My BIG girl!

Happy 15 months Lucy! Auntie Kaylie loves you very much. You are seriously too cute for words and I can't wait to play with you in a couple months! You're going to L.O.V.E Malloy - he's one big doggie - and you can play with any and everything in my house.
Like you say, absolutely perfect in every way!! Grandma loves Miss Lucy.
