After bidding adieu to Grandma- Lucy and I were off to Mill Valley to meet up with Ben, and to visit with Mike and Sarah and see their awesome new digs. Their new home is beautiful, and in the best location, and I really need to get Sarah to come help me with all things related to decorating. She rocks.
The boys got in two games of golf- apparently in the battle of the games, they were 1:1. Sarah and I spent most of Saturday meandering the, too cute for words, downtown of Mill Valley- where I proceeded to make sure most of the stores remained economically healthy. Whatever. It was Lucy's 5-month birthday and I needed to get her a few things.
On Friday night Sarah made a really amazing meal, and then Ben and I proceeded to show them how cool we have become in our parenting years, as Ben fell asleep on the couch snoring and I scampered off to bed. I think around 10. Saturday night they threw a cocktail party at their place, and we had a blast- and even managed to stay up past the midnight hour- though this time I fell asleep on the couch. We're pretty fun people to hang out with. All in all - we had an amazing weekend with the Atwoods, as always. Thanks guys!
