Lucy is 6 Months Old!

OMG. I'm maybe freaking out a little bit about this. How did my baby girl get to be a half a year old already????? That means she's heading to college soon! It's too fast. I can't handle it. She's still perfect. She's rolling around like crazy- sticks her bum in the air to try and push herself around. She can move things with her feet to better grab them with her hands. And speaking of grabbing... she grabs EVERYTHING. I'm seriously going bald from all the hair she's ripped out. The pups too. She grabs and then inserts immediately into her mouth. She's babbling a lot. We have heard her say "dada" a couple times now- but I can't decide if I want to call her out as a total early speaking genius- or if I want to say it doesn't count until she says it while looking at Ben... or until she manages to say "mama." Hm. She's now tried avocados, bananas, apples, peas and yams. The fruits are definitely more popular. Sweet tooth like her mama. She's getting closer to sitting up on her own, she smiles and giggles all the time. She's sleeping... about the same, maybe a bit better. Regularly napping twice a day. LOVES to "stand" on our laps. We read to her. She prefers eating the pages of books more than the actual story- but it's a start...

All in all she's just rocking everything and we can't get enough of her. I want her to keep growing and being her amazing self- but I just wish the days would last longer!

As of yesterday's appointment- Lucy is 25 1/2 inches long and 15 lbs and 6 oz. And 100% perfect perfect perfect.
