I've been pretty bad about updating lately- but I've been slammed at work and frankly, not a whole lot is going on other than me cursing about work.
This weekend we're up in Grass Valley for Easter- and I'll post pics when we get home, but we had an "incident" today which was too typical not to share.
****WARNING - This could possibly be another dog post****
We had to make our bi-weekly visit to the vet today. And of course it was for Jackson. We discovered these red marks on his belly and I was convinced it was ringworm so I insisted Ben take him into the vet, as I was elbow deep in Easter dinner and people were coming in two hours.
Well, I am happy to say that Jackson does not have ringworm (and Charlie doesn't have nerve damage in his spine... another fear I had which Ben was patient and sweet enough to ask the vet about while there today).
No. Jackson doesn't have ringworm. He has doggie acne. Which the vet said was caused from "stress." For serious.
What on earth is doggie acne? Not sure, but I guess if it exists, Jackson's bound to get it. The only explanation I can come up with is that he's stressed everyone keeps calling him overweight. Or that we're not feeding him enough now that he's on a diet.
Anyway- I'm fairly certain I won't be convincing Ben to go to the vet anytime soon, but he was my understanding hero today.
Happy Easter to all tomorrow! I cannot believe the weekend's nearly over and I truly can't face work this week.

So I am thinking that red spotted belly comes from said belly rubbing ground as said belly would have a tendency to do when chubby-fied causing ground to come in contact with said belly.
just a thought
He is NOT chubby dad! This is why he is stressed! everyone keeps calling him tubby! How would YOU feel?
