Highlights of the week include:
1. Hilary's birthday at the Other Room on Wednesday night! Happy Birthday Hilary! (I forgot my camera).
2. Beautiful sunshiny weather. Winter is officially over in LA.
3. As a longshot we bid on a house we couldn't afford. They turned down our offer so we don't have to eat rice for the next 30 years!
4. We missed date night for the first time in I don't know how long. This isn't a highlight- it's a tragedy. We were just so tired!
5. I got to go to Chino to look at a property for work. Woohoo Ryan Atwood!
5. We had a lovely dinner with the Sheets Family, the McKnight Family, and the very adorable Maribeth and Ben #2 at Ford's Filling Station in Culver City last night. Very fun despite the looney McKnight's trying to talk us into homemade moonshine by saying they had it tested for lead. Crazy Texans. We respectfully declined.... Frightening.
6. The puppies required no vet visits this week!
Today I went on an epic and miserably long 7-mile run with Kaylie and nearly died. I had to limp home. We're gearing up for another BBQ at their place for the UNC basketball game tonight. I should be working, but the prospect of that makes me slightly batty, so I'm ignoring thinking about it for the time being.
