Weekends Fly By....

Last night we went to Chez O'Connor/Heintzelman for the disastrous UNC game.  Kaylie, the girl-born-hostess made an amazing lasagna dinner for everyone, all the alums drowned their sorrow in wine, and the dogs made friendly all over the house.  Ben and I also had our first ever brush with Scattegories, which turns out to be a VERY amusing game.  We then moved on to Townhouse, in Venice, where Ben dominated the pool table and I lost a losing battle with exhaustion and fell asleep at the bar.  Always the life of the party I am.

This morning I started my day at Miss Riley's 2nd birthday party at My Gym.  Seriously the cutest collection of little people you have ever encountered, and all sorts of Eastdil tots were there.  I of course, was the creepy one there with no child but taking the majority of the pictures.  Poor Ben.  Seriously.

Had bookclub tonight.  We had been reading Pope Joan, which was universally enjoyed, and we've chosen Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer, which I have been dying to read, so all is well in the World of Amie.

Now I have to mentally motivate for another week of work.  I for one am SERIOUSLY craving a three month summer vacation, which unfortunately is NOT on the docket.
