Waves were great yesterday- so Ben thought it was a good day to play hooky and take his family up to Malibu with him. Since I play hooky from life pretty much everyday- I was able to go up with him. I tried to take lots of pictures, but the dogs trying to drown themselves, Lucy trying to eat sand and freaking out in the baking sun, and sitting on a hill of sand was a little too much for me to coordinate the camera to fully capture the waves....
In very exciting news- Connie Britton (aka Tammy Taylor) was at the beach with us and it was all I could do not to hug her and tell her how well deserved her Emmy nod is. Anyone else adore Friday Night Lights? We're late watchers- but devoted followers. It's amazing. Tammy Taylor is amazing. I didn't hug her though. I really wanted to.
