Books and Movies

Just as a complete side note- I just finished the Stieg Larsson Trilogy- which I really thought was amazing. Lisbeth Salander is one of the better characters in recent fiction that I can think of.

ALSO. My dad and I went to go see the Harry Potter movie last week. I thought it was amazing. I realize I'm biased as a crazy devoted fan of the books- but they really did such a beautiful job with the film. I was very skeptical of them breaking the last book into 2 movies- and thought the first one would be sort of boring since the book has a lot of dead time with them in the woods and searching about- but by splitting it up- they really were able to bring the whole thing to life in such wonderful and vivid detail. I'm all sappy about this movie- cannot wait for the next one, and cannot WAIT to start reading these books to Lucy. We're still in the board book phase... I musn't rush these things...
