Well I have some very disappointing news to share. Ben and Pete failed to win the Gentleman's Cup this past weekend. They did however come in a close second. Conditions were reportedly rain, sleet, hail, heavy winds, and freezing temperatures, but the boys braved it in full ski gear and enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Ben has now decided he wants to build us a log cabin in close proximity to the Banden Dunes resort. With Ben off golfing in the arctic, Lucy, the boys and I headed up to Grass Valley where I, personally, didn't find it to be a whole lot warmer.
Ben missed us so much that he skipped his flight home to LA, rented a car and drove straight to us from Oregon. While we've been bundling up for the winter weather in the low 30's, Ben got here and deemed it quite pleasant golfing temps, and is currently off to play a round while I pop the turkey in the oven and prep Thanksgiving fare. Crazy boys.
