Easter and Anniversary

We've been away from home for 10 whole days! First we went up to my parents' for Easter, and then from there, headed to Pebble Beach for our anniversary. It was a fantastic little trip- but it is also good to be home now too. Especially since it's 80 and sunny here... not much to complain about. Except morning sickness. Apologies in advance for an epic post... Lots of fun pics!

At Grandma's hair salon:

Lucy has a new wagon. She's obsessed. The dogs are less excited, but good sports nonetheless.

On Easter, my mother was very excited to take us to a local egg hunt... we showed up 5 minutes late and the thing was over. Hm. She did meet the Easter bunny though. She started crying and the "bunny" admitted she was a little creepy to young kids.

The Easter egg hunt at home was a little more successful. Lucy thought it was a little lame, until she discovered candy in the eggs. Then it got much more exciting.

Antics:

In Pebble there is a fabulous swing. Lucy loves it. Dogs not as much, but again, good sports...

Lucy putted on the Pebble Beach putting green. She showed the other players what's up. She also has a new interest in getting the dogs in her travel stroller. Again... Lucy is a big fan... dogs not as much but good sports... again...

Since we were there for such a long time this year- we were lucky to get visits from quite a few people. Steve and Meghan popped in, Nick and Meaghan brought their new beautiful baby girl, Cameron down for us to meet, Mike and Sarah visited and she is such a cutie with her bun in the oven! And Bryan came down to visit his own house as well!

It was the Pebble Beach Food and Wine Festival while we were there- so we went to a demonstration by Jacques Pepin which was awesome. We also got drinks at Spanish Bay afterwards and ran into our buddy Tom. Being a crazy Top Chef fan- I was so flustered when Ben asked if we could get a picture with him that I dropped the camera.

We found it a good sign that Lucy was interested in Baby Cameron. She particularly liked her when mommy wasn't holding her.

And to top off what couldn't be a more lovely week- Benny boy played Pebble Beach for the first time and had a great round. He says it will be hard to go back to Pebble and NOT play there... so perhaps a tradition has been born. If that's the case I'm making an appointment at their spa next time.
