Hard at Play- Hair to Prove It.

Lucy has really embraced playing. She somersaults, she spins, she rolls. She kisses her hand and kisses you goodbye. She's trying to "jump" which is amazing in that her little feet just don't seem to come off the ground. She's starting to stack her blocks- whereas before she just loved knocking them down. She has also learned how to use her jack-in-the-box but scoots away before the horse pops out and waits for me to do that part. She's super affectionate and friendly and LOVES to get messy. She is a little maniac and we love it.

Lucy had her little friend Westin's birthday party on Saturday. I think she knew she was going to a party and was very excited to put on her tutu. She very quickly became the biggest mess there covered in bubbles, marker, chocolate, berry juice and sunscreen. We like to call it "participating."

The day took its toll on her hair.

Watching Sesame Street while mommy makes dinner. Everyone on the show is named "Elmo" according to Lucy.
