Notice the common theme of swimming suits? It's all the Goose wants to wear. Putting shorts/pants/skirts on over them is a small miracle I strive for before we go out in public.
And because we live in LA- it's totally normal to have a live elephant on the boardwalk filming a commercial. Lucy wanted to pet her (her name is apparently Suzie), but I got the Goose to settle for looking and pointing.
We made Lucy a fort this weekend. She keeps hiding in the dog crates, behind curtains, under our bed etc, so I was thinking she was looking for some quiet space of her own in this crazy and busy life we drag her through. At first she was still more interested in the dog crates - but I'm happy to report that she has embraced (and I think even loves) her new fort after I lured her in with cookies and books. She is particularly happy when the dogs join her in there.

Viola is super envious of your meeting with the elephant as well as your new fort - Lucy, you have a wonderful mommy (but you know that already)!
