Mommy thinks I'm part monkey.
Me and Brookie had a fun time playing the other day. We were chasing each other and the dogs, running around the yard and communicating amongst ourselves. We even held hands and ran across the yard. Mommy thought it was good just to have some relatively unsupervised play but then she thought more pictures were in order.
Smile!
Okay. Now she's choking me.
As per the usual, mommy has been reading and reading and reading. And not just my board books. She recently finished The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch - which really isn't her type of book (life advice/motivational), but HER mommy usually gives her at least one of them a year because it turns out Grandma loves this kind of book. That said it was a good read and a moving story of a professor who, diagnosed with terminal cancer, is giving his last lecture to his students/colleagues/and mostly to the family and children he is leaving behind. Uplifting stuff right? Anyway- mommy marked two passages she thought rang true in advice for me and my unborn brother. So she's sharing... because... well, this is her blog so she can do whatever she wants! Blah blah blah...
1. Relationship advice if me or my brother are ever allowed to date (highly unlikely or at least not for the next few decades). "When it comes to men who are romantically interested in you, it's really simple. Just ignore everything they say and pay attention to what they do." I guess for me to know and my brother to take heed.
2. "Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted. And experience is often the most valuable thing you have to offer."
