Drag Queens & Theater

After rushing around all yesterday trying to get in a week's worth of paperwork for OUR NEW HOUSE, which was an unexpected weekend activity, Ben took off on a redeye to the amazing St. Barths for a week, and I went to a drag show in Silverlake.

Yes- apparently this is some annual event that Heidi's friends from school go to, and she, very kindly, extended the invite to Jason, Craig and myself.  The show is held at this great little Mexican restaurant, Casita del Campo, that we unfortunately did NOT get to eat at, as due to my own tardiness, we showed up minutes before the show started.  

Let me tell you, you have never seen theater till you've seen Chico's Angels (yes this was a latino drag queen take of the beloved Charlie's Angels).  It's a serial show, and this was the 4th or 5th installment of 6 if I'm remembering correctly.  The case of the Cha Cha Diamond.  Jason was quite taken with Ms. Quesa Dilla as you'll note from the pics below.  

Next up, I head to Vegas tomorrow for a big real estate conference, and then I'll be joining Ben et al in St. Barths for a too brief, but quite promising vacation.
