The super AMAZING Noells invited a group of us to St. Barths to stay at the Turtle House & Cottage last week. I, being the loser that I am, had to go to Vegas for work for the first half, but made up for it in the latter part of the week by tormenting everyone with my camera.
Truly an incredible trip in a pristine location and with excellent company. Other than being eaten alive as evidenced by my 4,000 bug bites (too sweet I am), and scorching my rear end in the sun, everything was perfect.
The gorgeous hosts:
The mascots AND residents of Turtle House & Cottage. Ben and I discovered the little buggers our last day.
Some beauty shots of the fair island:
Some good ol' drinking games. The boys had championships with both this and kadema. My husband bless his soul, didn't seem to be on too many winning teams. I blame Mooney.
Amongst the highlights of the weekend was the Comly/Lucas Zoolander standoff up at "The Rock" - otherwise known as the location of Davis and Stacey's first kiss.... I'm biased but I think Ben smoked him. That said, John gave us many more opportunities to capture his sexiness- but I had to edit out the photos for space purposes.
Additional highlights included the airport - where you go dive bombing down a hill to land, hoping the plane will stop short before it hits the beach, and more importantly, the crystal clear turquoise water... The picture below shows the boys actually on the runway, as it's fully open to the public from the beach. FAA doesn't really crack down on this place, with a metal detector "just for show." Apparently they don't expect the billionaires to be packing heat.
AND Le Select, also known as the inspiration to Jimmy Buffett's "Cheeseburgers in Paradise" - a phrase allegedly on the sign before it made it to his song.
More pics of the group and fun and the sun below. I have an inspired slide show/video I'm hoping to post- though my first cut at shrinking left it at 47 megs... so I'll have to come up with a new strategy.
