Ben and I have experienced an unprecedented stretch at home. It coincides with Fall TV premieres which is always exciting. Anyone else kind of into the new show "Fringe?"
Not much to report. It turns out when we stay at home we're actually lazy bums.
In very exciting news- there is a new cute baby in town named Miss Reese Ashby. I visited Robin and Karl 2 days before the baby was born, Robin looking tiny as ever in my opinion, Lindsey visiting from up north, and Bayley the amazing puppy all waiting in anticipation.
Fast forward two days, the baby is out, cute as a button and sleeping through all the gawking. She's rocking a killer faux-hawk, has an adorable nursery decked out in all things lavender, and her wardrobe rivals most full grown fashionistas. New mommy and daddy seem great, Karl made us wash our hands before holding her, and Robin looks like she never even had a baby- lucky lucky girl!
What else...
We went golfing. I'm trying to get a head start on leisure activities in hopes of upcoming forced retirement. Our original intention was 18 holes- but after our scores on the front 9 rivaled those for any full game of 18, and we nearly got beaned in the head by some nimrod behind us, which nearly turned into a full blowout between the angry little awful golfer behind us and Ben, we decided to call it a day half way through. My most marvelous hole was getting on the green off my drive, and then proceeding to 4 putt it. Nice.
We've also frequented the local bowling alley with Bryan and Hilary. Ben and I smoked them on the first game, with not as much luck in the second two. I think Bryan secretly practices with regularity. No other explanation.
And late night with the boys... Jackson tried to sneak into this one of Charlie and Ben bonding because he 'hearts' his human father.

I heart Fringe!! I am already addicted for sure! And congrats to Robin--that little be is A-dorable. And the nursery looks spectacular (though I think I'd be nervous about a chandelier above the crib, but that's just me being paranoid.) xoxo
I'm impressed with Ben "Big Ern" Lucas' bowling form.
