Another Day Another Activity

Today- Ben and I pried ourselves away from The Wire long enough to awake at 6am and head up to the mountains for some skiing and snowboarding.  We went to Mtn High Resort - it is 45 minutes closer than Big Bear and neither of us had ever heard of it.  First time we'd ever been skiing with the desert as a back drop.  The sun was shining and all of the LA kooks were out.  The place was an absolute mob scene.  But we had fun!  And Ben was able to break in his new and very eco friendly snow board.  

 

Ben's now glued to the TV watching football in anticipation of the Ravens game tomorrow.  He keeps calling everyone from Baltimore making "Ka Kaaaw" bird shrieks into the phone.
