Seeing as how I'm still a lady of leisure, Summer and I decided to be LWLs and grabbed lunch in Manhattan Beach last week. The visit also afforded me a visit with Mr. Braden. I got to hold him while he was sleeping, but when he woke up he seemed rather startled to find a total stranger hovering over him and not his mother...
Coach Ben! Ben was driving by a park near our house recently and saw some local middle school kids playing lacrosse. Ben, being from the land of lacrosse, noticed that these young lads were seriously lacking in any proper Baltimore skills and has decided to join the coaching staff of the league so as to impart some of his vast knowledge. He comes home jabbering about how these kids need to work on drills, and how they should be "sleeping with their sticks!" Coach Ben they call him. I thought this was pretty cute and wanted to see for myself the coach in action so I lurked around the field and tried to take sly pictures until I decided I probably looked like some creepy person trying to prey on the young and innocent and went back home.
No this picture is not of one of Ben's middle school lacrosse kids. I cut off all my hair and now look like a 12-yr old boy.
This past weekend was also Ravens mania. They won. Ben's got high hopes for the Superbowl. We watched the game up at Point Dume and while it was an exciting one - I have to say I was slightly more enthralled with Moo - the wonder pup (also my inspiration for puppy #3 and perhaps a sister for our boys...), AND while up there I upgraded my Wii and downloaded all the old school Nintendo games like Super Mario 1, 2, 3 and Adventure Island. I really might never leave the house again.
Lastly, tonight was bookclub and I of course had to snap a million pics of Stella because she's adorable and chubby and was sporting some serious style with her gold tutu and leg warmers. Amazing!

puppy #3!!!
No puppy #3 just yet but I'm working on it! The big issue is we wouldn't be able to fly with all 3!
You do not look like a 12-year-old boy!!
