Toys

With loads of new toys in the house, Ben is hard pressed to choose which one he wants to try.  But- after 9 straight hours of watching The Wire (for serious)- we've pried ourselves off the couch and Ben decided it was a good time to try his new stand up paddle board.  

That disastrous idea quickly fell on its face when we discovered it's truly arctic out.  (Ok, like maybe the low-50's) but it's also windy and the ocean really is frigid. Or it looked frigid to me. I sat on the beach taking pictures and cringing when Ben hit the water.  

 

 

He lasted about 15 minutes.  We've decided a full-body wetsuit is probably in order for the next attempt.  That and a sunny day.  

Back to the couch I think....
