3 Things of Note

1.  Mumsie totaled the car.  Huge storms up in the Tahoe area and my poor mother hit a patch of ice on the way to work yesterday and ended up on a pile of rocks off the road.  Luckily she seems to have escaped with no major damage to herself done.  Same can't be said for the ol' car.  I guess the silver lining is that both of my over-worked parents decided it was a good day to take off work. 

2.  Hungett (dad's friend from high school) was in town last night and Ben and I got to grab dinner with him and hear all about his rough life living in Hawaii.

3.  I finished my chair.  What chair you ask? Well months ago... I think maybe even 6... we found a chair in the alley that we (Ben) decided would be a fun project for me to re-upholster.  Fun - I agreed!  Well it took awhile.  And I had to learn to sew to finish it.  But it is done.  Stripped down to the wood, replaced padding, re-upholstered it.  And it's done.  And I no longer have to sit on a child's chair 2 feet shorter than my desk to type on this computer.  All is good.
