Alley Cat

So having finished my chair, it was again time to troll the alleys in search of new art projects.  I came across these two beauties and snuck them into our backyard as a neighbor looked on and commented on how it seemed I was "refurnishing the whole house from the alley."  It probably didn't help that he had caught me a few days before, out looking for a bench that would fit in our bedroom, all the while eyeing a good candidate that happened to be in his garage... Anyway.  I think these could make fun side tables in the guest room after a good stripping and repainting, maybe in a fun bright lacquered color.  I've added it to my trusty to-do list.

This past weekend we went to a surprise birthday party for Robin.  Karl really surprised her as her birthday was back in August.  She was fairly indisposed with the whole pregnancy thing at the time- so it was a half birthday party!

 

And today I got to have lunch with 3/4ths of the Sheets family.  Amazingly cute tots- though Riley was far more interested in head butting Braden than taking a picture with me.  

 

And lastly MY babies!  I think Ben is slightly creeped out and wholly terrified by the barrage of cute babies I seem to be posting on the blog these days (it's really not my fault that my friends have such cute children)- so I figure my own little loves need some air time.  

 

And Albert yes! I got a new camera! Though none of the pics on this post are from it... But I LOVE it.
