Ice Plants

I have nothing new to report.  That said- I'm absolutely ecstatic that my ice plants have finally bloomed.  Nothing like a shock of pink to cheer up anyone!  (Except maybe Ben who's grumpy about trading today).  Seriously.  

 

And - I'm getting downright depressed that we're leaving the boys behind for 10 days.  While I know they won't even notice we're gone and will be having far more fun at Camp Carole's than they do here- that doesn't mean I'm not going to miss them like crazy.  Particularly since their haircuts are so darn cute right now.  I made Ben let them sleep with us last night.  They refused to pose for pictures however.  And yes. Chuck Norris is wearing a cone.  Only because he has a scratch on his tummy he won't stop licking and not because he has some crusty dog disease.
