In Florida Becoming Parents

Well- not parents exactly- but godparents yes.  Little David Newton got dunked this past weekend in Sarasota, and Ben and I were honored to be asked to serve as godparents.  David was a total trooper throughout the ceremony, giggling the entire time.  AND - most importantly- there was no incident of peeing in Ben's face, which Ben feared, and no dropping of the oily baby as Maia, the mommy, feared.

Mavis the french bulldog oversaw the whole affair.  They also have a cute pup named Murphy- but he's terrified of Mavis so no pics of him.  Very cute doggies but it made me miss my boys all the more.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter yesterday!!!  We're now on the east coast of Florida where we got to briefly visit with Chuck and Sarah Baker last night- though they slipped by without getting any pictures... and now we eagerly anticipate the arrival of the Comlys on Wednesday!

Also- today is big man Pete's birthday- so happy happy to him- though I personally have not been able to wish him a good one since he and Ben were up at some godawful hour this morning to go fishing.  I'll have to snag a picture of him in his young age later today.
