Early Days of December

Last night we had a fun dinner at Ado in Venice- which really has some tasty and buttery pasta! After dinner- everyone wanted to check out the rooftop bar at the Hotel Erwin- you can imagine my disappointment when we got there and it had closed for the evening... I had really felt like raging. The bouncer was kind enough to let us do a loop of the place though and it really does have incredible views- so maybe we'll have to revisit as a post baby celebration.

While I'm in no rush to force Baby L out before she's ready- I also hate the idea of inducing, so today have taken some proactive measures. I started with a very spicy burrito for breakfast, followed by a great hike with Jana, and then followed THAT by an acupuncture treatment by Jana's grand master himself. We'll see what happens. I really wish I didn't feel this pressure to push the baby along before she's ready- but I suppose better my attempts at natural methods then shooting me up with pitocin sometime next week!?! I still hope to bargain a few days out of my doctor when she brings it up assuming all is well and normal with the baby- buy my little Peanut some time to prep for her big debut!

Come on Baby L - we know it's cozy in there, but don't make your Mom have to force you out! I hadn't seen your last post until this morning. LOVE the children's books silhouettes. Very creative.
