Popular Girl and Other Weekend Antics

Lucy has clearly upped our popularity rankings as we get visits now from everyone! It's awesome. And Lucy is awesome. Friday I got to hang out with Jaimee during the day and Denise, who was in town from up north, during the night. Ben saw Avatar and thought it was the "future of movies" and an amazing IMAX experience. Saturday was a surf day for Ben, where he says he caught one of the longest waves of his life, and he came back glowing from the day of play outside. I got to visit with Alex and Zeus in his absence. We ate burritos and fawned over the baby and puppies. Brady and Emily brought over goodies for Lucy and dinner for us last night- which was amazing. Emily made this really good Italian Wedding Soup for dinner, which we scarfed down within seconds, and we split a good bottle of bubbly to boot. And then today was mostly devoted to the Ravens. We headed up to Point Dume to watch the game. Ravens killed the Pats. Ben is a happy camper obvs.

All in all a great great weekend! And this week promises to be another good one, as both grandparents come to town and we all get to go lounge in the sun in Palm Springs!
