Well it's official... Another month has flown by for Miss Lucy. 7 months old and a million times cuter and more fun than ever thought possible! She has tried all sorts of foods, squash last night for the first time. As is typical- she was not a fan until I gave in and added banana. She sits up almost all the time on her own now. She really likes to play the game where you click your tongue and she clicks back. She still loves her jolly jumper- though she seriously vaults herself into the air- where it makes me nervous sometimes. She's not crawling- but she can spin herself in circles for hours and she really sticks her bum up in the air to give herself momentum. Changing her diapers has become a bit of a gymnastics feat, with me holding tight to her feet as she spins and spins and spins. She thinks it's hilarious. She's really into the dogs, all dogs really. Which of course I love. She's in a pretty big "mommy" phase- but is usually ok when I'm not in the room. But if I am- she does often reach for me, which perhaps I'm supposed to discourage but it kind of warms my heart... She loves to play with everything and everything goes directly into her mouth. Remotes, phones, pens, straws, the dogs, my hair, ribbons, any piece of paper she can get her grubby hands on... And she laughs. She laughs all the time. Giggles really. I've made it my ringtone. She's a total smiler and flirts with everyone. She just watches people that walk by- hoping they will look at her so she can smile back. I go from being annoyed at strangers who won't stop talking to her, to getting annoyed when they ignore her and she looks disappointed. She's amazing. Really truly amazing and we love her so much. I just wish she would stop growing so fast! She's growing up too fast!
