Grass Valley!

With Ben away, Lucy, Charlie, and Jackson and I were worried we would be lonely at home all alone, so we hopped in the car and went to visit Grandma and Bearpa, and to say our final goodbye's to Auntie H... VERY sad. My mom was a total trooper and flew down to LA just to drive back up with us. Lucy appreciated the extra attention in the car. I had high hopes of my mom batting cleanup with Lucy in the middle of the night since the woman regularly wakes up at 4am- but she keeps showing up at 7am saying how great Lucy slept- claiming she couldn't hear the active baby in the night. Lazy.

Lucy has been rapidly changing by the day. It's insane. Her latest tricks are that she knows how to clap! Video to come soon... I need to get back to my own computer... She also is well on her way to crawling. She scoots around on her belly, sticks her butt up and pushes with her feet. She's not up on her hands and knees yet- she's slithering around like a snail - but she definitely wants to be on her way! She jibber jabbers up a storm, and her little tooth is getting more and more visible by the day! She is a SQUIRMY little worm and so freaking fun it's painful. That said she still doesn't sleep worth a lick and I think Ben and I are devoting our August to giving Lucy the "gift of sleep."

Heidi and Ryan! He is also sad that Heidi is up and heading to the Dam.

Bearpa got $20 from Uncle Bear during his golf weekend with the boys last weekend and said Lucy could put it in her piggy bank for her college fund...

Grandma offered to watch Lucy while I went on a run. I came home and found her asleep on the job...
