Lucy and I took a field trip up to the Bay Area today to celebrate Baby "Brady" at Megan's baby shower. It was way too much fun for me to see all the girls from high school and I'm wishing that we had booked our trip to stay longer than 4 hours! Lucy slept for the majority of it, but she did wake up in order to see her little generation of attendees right before we had to hit the road.
In other news, Megan and her sister are due 2 weeks apart. They also live 2 blocks from one another. Heidi. If you are reading this post- I'd really like to coordinate something like this with you - it looks way too fun to me. And if you're not on board for the baby part- which you probably aren't- I'll settle for you living 2 blocks from me. Or at least on the same continent.

I know, wish you had stayed longer! It really is so fun that they are due so close together. Their little ones will probably be more like brother and sister than cousins because of it.
