We had a very fun Halloween. It's my birthday- so I find the holiday a fun one in general. Thanks to everyone for their bday wishes! Lucy and Ben spoiled me all day long, starting with a nice breakfast out, a super appreciated massage, lunch with my little family and then we went hunting for some new fishies. Ben recognized the big hole in my heart with Otis' passing and we went and got not one but FIVE new swimming friends for our super fun new fish tank. So far we've only named Brutus and Rodger. The tank requires a couple of days to "prepare" for the fish- so tomorrow is their inaugural swim in the tank (don't worry- pictures will be forthcoming). Anyway. I'm hopingthat poor carnival fish Otis was just sickly from his previous life and we have more luck with these guys...
And of course- the day would not be complete without dressing up, going to a party and trick-or-treating! Lucy got pretty into the trick-or-treating once she realized people were just passing out candy right and left. She had her first sucker ever and I would say it was a bit of a hit. She nursed that thing like it was going out of style.
Costume dress rehearsal. Someone was a little scared of Max from Where the Wild Things Are's tail, so we said it was a dog. She warmed up to it and was the cutest Max EVER.
Goofing off with Mommy Elvis (aka fat Elvis), and tea party with Daddy!
Pics from our neighborhood Halloween party! I was desperate for a group shot of kids in costume, but it was like corralling... well a group of kids.
Lucy really loves her sucker:
And the sugar rush is starting to fade...
Hope everyone enjoyed the holiday! We certainly did!

I think Lucy lives in a fun house, a fun neighborhood, with fun parents and fun doggies. Grandma loves them all.
