Oh my God. How did we get here??? How has my baby girl managed to put 2 years under her belt? Time truly does fly. She's so amazing in every possible way. She's funny, she's sweet, she's perceptive, she's smart. She sings the ABC's, she counts to ten and sometimes beyond! She loves to play. Tea parties, baking cookies with play-doh and building 'castles' are big favorites. Jumping on the trampoline, running pretty much everywhere, reading books and playing the drums. Westin is her best friend. She loves animals, the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. She's very fashion forward and has definite opinions about what she will wear each day. Usually pj's or a princess dress of some kind. Definitely no sweatshirts or coats. Occasional accessories such as jewelry and purses pretty common.
I thought Lucy was as perfect as can be (I'm completely unbiased), and then we went and had Wyatt. I was pretty nervous, I'll admit, about how the new addition would affect Lucy and more particularly, my relationship with Lucy. And through this momentous event, she has astounded and impressed me even more with her patience, love, and gentle spirit with her baby brother. She is so sweet and loving to him, and so patient with me with our new schedule and feeding/changing/life delays. I think Lucy has become even more perfect and really come into her own in her new role of Big Sister.
I am just so proud of Lucy in every possible way, and love her more than words can even express. I hate how quickly she is growing up, but I just love to see the wonderful young lady she is growing into and am confident she will continue to surprise and impress us with her wonderful BIG spirit as she continues to grow. Lucy, my little angel, I love you so much and HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Tear.
