Wyatt- 1 Month Birthday!!!

Somehow Wyatt has gone and become 1 month old already. And he continues to be such an incredible dream. He's cuter by the second, more active and awake, and bigger too! He's quickly growing out of all the clothes- which I guess is a good thing since he's got so many of them. He continues to prefer the nighttime over the day for most of his awake time. He gets lots and lots of love and hugs and kisses from his sister. He's a snuggler. While Lucy always had to be held upright and danced with or bounced, he's very content to lay horizontal in your arms and just snooze. He makes lots of old man noises when he sleeps with lots of snorts and grunts. I'd like to say I've now mastered boy diapers after a month- but since he just peed all over himself and me this morning- I can't make that claim.

I have found the transition to two children very natural. (I wouldn't say I've got my act together- my house and general appearance are a mess- but I'm so blissed out with my kids it doesn't matter). Or I guess it just seems very natural and perfect to have little Wyatt in the family. It's only been a month- but he has always belonged here. We all just love him so much. I know there are all sorts of birth order theories- and I guess to some extent they do play out. We all just want to snuggle and take care of our little man, Lucy has taken control and is a bit of a dictator. "No MY baby brother." It's amazing. He's amazing, we love him so much and I just know the months will continue to fly faster and faster. Happy birthday Wyatt. I love you.
