Pete's been in town for all of 36 hours and he and Ben have already made three trips to Home Depot. Additionally, Pete brought a circular saw with him on the plane. Is that even allowed??? Projects. They have been doing projects. Which doesn't really leave me feeling warm and fuzzy as I leave for work each morning, but thus far the carnage has been cleaned up before I come home. Pete does keep telling me he loves the smell of burning sawdust in the morning. Frightening.
So far they added a support beam to my laundry room shelf, a new shelf to my broom closet, AND, the pride and joy... Ben's new surf board rack for his "office." It's quite sexy, though with 4 empty slots, I'm starting to wonder how many more surf boards we, as a family, plan on investing in.
