Life at Home

A major rarity in the Lucas household... we've been home for more than 5 days straight!  Typical work week consisting of Ben getting in some golfing and surfing and me having a really bad attitude and complaining about how lame my job is.  But eventually we were blessed with a weekend.

We got to Father's Office in Culver City on Thursday with Summer, MB, Tom, Ben and a couple of Ben's friends for burgers and beers.  Always excellent.  

Friday we were able to meet up with Karl and Robin.  Robin had a much better showing in the belly arena than last time, so I didn't have to feel so sorry for myself this time thinking that I had a larger abdomen than a preggers woman.  She literally glows.  

 

Saturday morning we woke up bright and early to catch breakfast with Spence, Kim and the adorable Master Quinn- who were in town for a wedding.  

 

 

We spent most of Saturday at the beach- though it took us about 2 hours to find a place that had suitable waves for Ben even though we ended up about 15 minutes from home.  Hilary and Bryan joined us,  Ben impressed us all with is board maneuvers, and I conquered a solid 5 games of sudoku while were there.  I am seriously insanely good at that game. No joke.  Ben thinks it is anti-social, but I think he's just jealous of how good I am. 

 

Today I went down to Newport to visit with Jaimee and her ridiculously adorable little family.  I'm in love with Ava the little bald-beauty, and Dave and Jaimee are the artsiest and most laid back couple on the planet.  Seriously so fun catching up!
