Moving on- we made our way to the Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair where Trish and Sean had a booth for their most excellent Kona Coffee (great Christmas/birthday/random indulgence idea for anyone who's a coffee buff)! Also at the fair was a selection of really awesome old school woodies- which made us reminisce on our blessed day of matrimony- always a fun thing to do.
From Manhattan Beach we went down to Newport to see Jaimee and Dave's amazing new digs. The visit also gave me an opportunity to fawn all over the adorable Miss Ava- who happens to have an extensive and impressive hat collection. After a fun visit, the fortification of some southern BBQ and wine- we decided to brave Carmax on our way home in our latest quest to rid ourselves of the old cars in hopes of new, smaller, and more gas efficient vehicles (or at least one that is capable of transporting Ben's new longboard). Sadly no one seems to want our old castoffs, which is putting a bit of a damper on our trade-in plans.
