Red Carpet Movie Premiere

This morning Ben and I went to Heidi's school where her class was doing a big red carpet "premiere party" for their publishing celebration.  My sister is seriously the best teacher on the planet and if my kid were in 4th grade and stuck in the other class I'd be super annoyed.

Anyway- the kids in her class all "published" works of their writing, be it letters, comic books, fiction, biographies, poetry, cookbooks etc - and presented it to an audience of parents, friends, store owners, and so forth and the whole thing was turned into this amazing movie.

The premiere was this morning and the kids all dressed up- some even in tuxes! and walked the red carpet for the viewing and followed it up with a sparkling cider toast.  It was really cute.  Ben (such a good brother-in-law) was in charge of filming the whole thing- and got some great clips of parents getting bleary eyed over the whole thing.

Very novel way to spend the morning.

Oh My Gosh! What a production--I am so impressed! And, impressed that you attended in the morning. Does this mean you are not sleeping in? I think you should be!
