So Jackson has a bit of a "skin condition." When Ben's feeling particularly kind and generous- he refers to it as Jackson's "dog acne"- but he has some other less forgiving terms as well. I have a lot of faith in the whole organic apple cider vinegar plan - believing that it can pretty much cure everything from my skin, to doggie ear infections- and have long treated Jackson's sensitive skin with said treatment. Well it's not working this time... and after a week of getting made fun of by too many people (Andrew and Ben)- I decided it was time to bring in the big guns and get Jackson to the vet.
While there I mentioned that poor Jackson was getting a lot of teasing for his problem complexion- to which my vet said,
"Why? Because he's a Maltese?"
I stare at him questioningly- not sure what the heck he means.
"You know- because he's a lap dog?"
Um. Aren't vets supposed to be super sweet and affectionate to all animals? Why would he be made fun of because he's small?!?! The little guy has big personality! (With big skin issues...)
Whatever. Lucy and I love our puppies.
