We spent last week in Florida visiting Ben's family. It was off to a rocky start when Baltimore got absolutely pummeled in snow, and Uncle Andrew, Pancho and YaYa's flights were all cancelled. Pancho motivated the troops to drive through the night instead. (You'll have to ask him about the owl they killed along the way...) The week was very relaxing- which was good- as I came down with the head cold from hell and walked around in a haze for 95% of the time. And then I gave it to Ben. Little Lucy has been sneezing and coughing- but seems to be faring ok for the most part. Considering we've dragged her all over the country in the last couple weeks.
Lucy flying with her papa for the first time! They both survived...
Lucy got to meet all of her Florida relatives during her visit. Everyone agreed she rocks. Obviously. And Ben and I got to visit with our godson David- who is SO BIG compared to Lucy! I can't believe she'll be that big in about a year! So crazy. He continues to be one of the happiest little bruisers in the world!
Ben was lucky enough to spend Valentine's Day with not one, but two lovely ladies who love him more than anything! He took us out to breakfast at the 4 Seasons. Lucy flirted with our server. Hope everyone had a great day!
More pics from FL. I brought an insanely cute little summertime wardrobe for Miss Lucy- but the temperatures were surprisingly cool- so while she looked amazing- she was bundled in a blanket the whole time. The price of fashion... a lesson Lucy is learning early...
I seriously have the cutest bundle of little things in my family!
Do I look chunky to you?
Where's Lucy?
The dogs picked odd places to sleep.... Jackson in his traveling case. Not sure if he was just ready to go home or if he was looking for something crate like to sleep in so his dad would be happy with him? Charlie just hid under the beds...
Pups at play. Jackson was supremely proud of himself for getting the tennis ball away from Charlie. Charlie ended up swimming after the ball seconds after this picture was taken...
And Charlie snuck into the neighbor's yard and couldn't figure out how to get back...
And then it was time for Lucy to go back home! She was a little concerned on the flight that this whole traveling thing is becoming a regular thing...

I LOVE that pic of her next to the pic of the two Lucas boys with their Mom (so many fun pics, I had to specify!). And is there something wrong with me that I can't find Lucy in the where's Lucy...? Is she maybe on top of the central cushion?

i think where's lucy is especially cruel when lucys head is hidden.
