After Wrightsville, we continued our grand tour of NC and headed over to Emerald Isle to visit with Ben's parents. Lucy went from pool to beach to pool to beach to nap to pool pretty much every day. I feel a great deal of accomplishment in her not getting burned once. Lucy also went and played mini-golf, went to the aquarium (which she was totally fascinated with), and dug for sand crabs and even kissed them. She has been asking, "where the crabbies?" ever since we left...
Um... is anyone planning on letting me into the room so I can change for the pool? And taking a break to catch up on some reading.
My daddy got me this pretty cute beach ensemble. I even took off my jellies and said, "bye bye" long enough to wear my new Crocs for a whole day.
And before departing NC entirely- we swung back over to Kaylie and Jimmy's to impose upon them one more time and to let Lucy play with her new buddy "Mammoy." (Malloy)
