Weekend in LA

We spent this last weekend at home in sunny LA and were fortunate enough to have the Atwoods join us for some fun in the sun. Always a treat to see them! Friday night we meandered over to First Friday on Abbot Kinney. It was soon dubbed way too busy and chaotic, and we ended up on Hilary's porch to escape the masses. Unfortunately we had to bid Dan adieu early in the night- as he claimed he had something like law school to get back to.

Saturday the boys golfed and the girls ate and got manis and pedis. After resting up in the backyard after our rough day- we went to dinner at the Little Door in West Hollywood- which Ben and I hadn't been to before and found it really adorable and romantic.

Um- and WTH? The tree outside our house- on the sidewalk- seems to have lost a limb. In our yard. Now we're pretty sure that the tree is City property- and therefore they should be responsible for dealing with this right? What does one do with a large fallen tree in their yard? Ben wants to invest in a chainsaw. I'm just glad it didn't land on my car which was on the other side. For now the dogs are using it as a jungle gym of sorts.
