Congrats to Jimmy & Kaylie!

We were in Carolina Beach this past weekend for the blessed nuptials and festivities of the darling Jimmy & Kaylie. For us- the festivities kicked into high gear pretty much upon our arrival on Friday- though the majority of their family and wedding party had been celebrating all week long.

They had an awesome set up- comprised of a cluster of houses on the beach all attached by a communal deck where everything was held. The rehearsal:

And later in the night:

On Saturday, Ben (and the rest of the floor) got up to the sounds of Stringer and Andrew yelling up and down the halls of the hotel that it was time for the boys to get "going" - which I believe meant some surfing, boating and playing on a nearby island. I opted for the lazy beach day and was all the happier for it. Though the near passerby on the beach might have been a bit surprised to see the belly on full display.

Then it was time for the wedding! Held on the beach outside the aforementioned houses- we were able to stroll from the beach at our hotel down to the ceremony. Ben and I were doing a joint reading! Apparently we were running a bit late- as the wedding coordinator pulled me aside later to say people were "wondering where the pregnant girl was- and had heard she had gone into labor." Not yet- Baby L. is still happily gestating! For a couple more months we hope...

And a little clip for once the dancing started...

Congrats Jimmy & Kaylie! We couldn't be happier for you both and were so honored to be a part of the ceremony!
