DIY #1 - Rocking Chair

Back in April- Ben gave me this beautiful 1950's Danish rocking chair for our anniversary. Perfect as it was- the cushions didn't match my baby room colors so I decided I would reupholster it. Always a risky venture given my very mediocre skills on the sewing machine. That said- I have completed the cushions and am ready to move onto my other projects consisting of reupholstering another chair and fashioning some semblance of a window treatment for the baby's room.... Fascinating isn't it?
