The Zoo

Lucy and I went to the LA Zoo on Sunday and had such a great time! We were there as they opened and left just when it started to get packed, hot and the animals were going down for their midday naps... Lucy's favorite parts were the 'park' that we found in the middle of the zoo, and the hippo who was 'swimming' and then took a massive and explosive poop all over the water- to which she shouted, "poop! poop! he pooped!!!!" Boy did he ever. And yes. Lucy is in a nightgown. She didn't want to change out of her "princess dress" that day. Don't judge.

My favorite were these crazy monkeys. They were seriously so loud and were swinging around like crazy! Just like my little monkey on the bars!

In other news- I made some chocolate coconut bread and Lucy offered to taste test it for me.
