First and most importantly our darling Charlie (aka Chuck Norris) turned 2 years old on the 1st!
We celebrated the 4th of July in LA watching the fireworks on the roof of our neighbor's building. We had spent the day at the beach and playing board games. Low key but fun. The wedding season was slowing down for us- so we had some downtime at home- a rarity for us! We caught a Brett Dennen concert - which we enjoyed a lot, particularly since we weren't familiar with his music beforehand.
We went to Newport, RI for Jay and Sara Sullivan's wedding on the 14th. I love the Rhode Island shore and the town of Newport is so incredibly charming with all the colors and flowers, not to mention the beautiful beaches.
A great way to close out our summer wedding season and head into a quiet August.
