Rainy Night in San Francisco

I had a dinner in the beautiful City by the Bay Wednesday night for work. As usual I was very overly optimistic about what I'd be able to fit in with visions of bedside visits to the recovering Claireabelle, to meeting the brand new Natalie Chen, drinks with the Atwoods, catching up with Denise and so forth...

I dashed from the airport directly to Stephanie and Albert's to meet Natalie before she succumbed to sleep. ADORABLE. I was predictably spastic around her, but she humored me.

'PLEASE get these gloves off. I can't scratch my face with them on!'

'If you take off the gloves I'll make Auntie Amie my first words...'

After a mini-visit with them I was already late for my work dinner at Scott Howard- which was great food and the clients were entertaining. The meal lasted FOREVER though and I was crossing my eyes and stifling yawns at 11:45 praying for the conversation to wrap up.

Yesterday, I showed up at SFO to be greeted with a cancelled flight, followed by a delayed flight, followed by a missing captain. Hoping today's travels to NYC for Jay and Michele's wedding go a bit smoother.
